- Sign in to your Facebook account with your username and password.
- Click the down arrow icon to open the dropdown menu in the top right corner of your Facebook home page.
- Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu and click Settings.
- In the left sidebar of the Settings page, click Public Posts (or Public Posts and Stories, depending on your version of Facebook).
- In the "Comments on Public Posts" section, you'll see the option "Who can follow me?" Click the Edit button next to it (usually represented by a pencil icon).
- A pop-up menu will appear with various options for followers. Select Public to allow anyone on Facebook to follow your public posts.
- Selecting the "Public" option will enable the follower feature, allowing others to follow your public posts without being friends.
- To customize your follower settings further, click the Follower settings option in the Who can follow section. This allows you to control who can comment on your public posts and who can see your followers and other related settings.
- After changing your follower settings, click the Close button to save your changes. Note that enabling follower options only applies to public posts. Your private posts and personal information are only visible to approved friends.
