- Setting Strong Password.
To strengthen your Gmail account's current login password, you must select and use passwords carefully. Log in to Google using any browser to change your current password to a new, more secure one. Continue to select Account from the Menu Icon and log in to your Google Account.
When you get to the Account Page, click on the Security Tab. Scrolling down the Security page, you will see a "Singing Into Google" tab. If you click on the "Password" row, an additional tab with two blanks named "New & Confirm new password" will open to provide a new password.
Enter the selected strongest password in the two blanks and confirm the new password by clicking the "change password" button. Because the password is more complicated, it is already protected from being able to easily log in to the Account.
- Using 2 Steps Verification.
When you log in, enter the correct password, and you will not be given access to the Account. After entering the correct password, add the verification code sent to the specified mobile number, or log in to the Account only after confirmation from the email already logged in.
According to 2-Step Verification, the user who will log in to the Account must know the password. And should be able to verify. To verify the setting, click the "2-Step Verification" Row under the "Singing Into Google" Tab and enter.
Click "Get Started" on the First Tab and "Continue" on the Second Tab to continue. When you reach the Third Tab, enter the mobile number that will receive the Verification Code. In the "Confirm that it works" tab, enter the 6 codes sent to the mobile number and click Next.
Preparing for Verification Mode. "Turn on 2-Step Verification?" Once you reach the tab, click "Turn On" near the bottom corner, and 2-Step Verification will open. 3. Logging into a 2-Step Verified Gmail Account When logging in to a new Gmail account on other devices, you need to enter your password in the first step and then verify it in the second step.
There are two ways to verify. The first way is to allow other devices to log in from the mail of the device already logged in. When logging in on a new device, after entering the password, a verification mail will arrive in the Gmail of the previously logged-in device, and you must click "It was me" in the Mail Body.
The second way is to select "Try another way" on the tab that opens after entering the password. In the next tab, click on "Get a Verification Code at 09xxxxxxxxx" and fill in the 6 codes sent to the mobile number. The registered mobile phone must also be secured to receive the verification code. The security level of the Google Account connected to all Google Service Apps has been raised.
