Hello and welcome to the LuGyiMin Blog! Today, we're excited to share this post "How To Speed Up Computer Performance?" So let's learning together.
How To Speed Up Computer Performance? |
Here is Screenshot & Method:
Computers that are used daily gradually decrease in Performance over time. Therefore, if you know how to improve the performance of your computer, it will make your daily life more comfortable.
- Disable Startup Apps.
When you turn on your computer, you will notice that some applications start automatically. Some of these apps are running in the background. Most of them are not needed, so you have to disable them. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc together, and when Task Manager opens, go to Startup Tab through More details. Look at the status and select all the unnecessary ones one by one and disable them.
- Remove Recently Unused Apps.
The device has a set of software, so you can use it when needed. But if you have a lot of software you don't use often, you need to uninstall it because it reduces system performance and storage. Type Add or remove programs in the Windows Search Box and enter Settings. After that, select the software you don't use and uninstall it. (Driver software is necessary, so when uninstalling other software, you must be careful not to remove it).
- Run Only Necessary App.
The computer can multitask, but the running apps will share the Performance. To be able to use Total Performance only where needed, it is necessary to close everything except the Primary Running App, not Minimize it.
- Clean Unnecessary Files.
You have to clear unnecessary files and cache memory starting from Recycle Bin.
In the Run Box:
> %temp%>prefetch> cleanmgr
Enter the run commands one by one and clear the temporary files.
- Customize Performance.
If you press Windows Key + R together and the Run-box comes up, type sysdm.cpl and hit enter, it will go to System Properties. Select Advanced Tab and enter Performance Setting. When you reach the Visual Effects Tab of Performance Options, select Adjust for best Performance and click Apply. Since no more animation in transitions, it will be difficult to use. But it's okay because it doesn't affect the software's user interface.
- Stop Windows Updates.
For some reason, Windows is always up to date, which is good. It will be inconvenient to do auto-updating while the device is still running. Open Task Manager and go to Open Services via the Services Tab. When the Primary Services Tab opens, scroll down and find the Windows Update setting row. Suppose found, right-click and enter properties. When the Windows Update Properties Tab opens, click Stop under Services status. After that, select Disabled in the Startup type and click Apply.
- Make Computer Cold.
As electronic components get closer to the specified temperature, Performance is affected. Therefore, to prevent the system from overheating, choosing an environment where the CPU and system fans have good ventilation is necessary. The fans get dusty occasionally, so they must be cleaned occasionally. These steps are ways to improve the computer's Performance through software without upgrading the hardware.
