- Insert your SD card (or USB stick) into your computer.
- Press the Windows and the "R" key on your keyboard simultaneously to open the Run dialog box.
- Type "cmd" and press Enter to open the Command Prompt.
- Type "diskpart" and press Enter.
- Type "list disk" and press Enter. This will display a list of all the disks connected to your computer.
- Identify the disk number for your SD card (or USB stick) from the list.
- Type "select disk X" (where "X" is the disk number for your SD card or USB stick) and press Enter.
- Type "clean" and press Enter. This will delete all data from the disk.
- Type "create partition primary" and press Enter.
- Type "format fs=fat32 quick" and press Enter. This will format your SD card (or USB stick) in the FAT32 file system, which is compatible with most devices.
- Wait for the formatting process to complete. This may take several minutes, depending on the size of the disk.
- Once the formatting process is complete, type "exit" and press Enter to close the Command Prompt.
