Here is Screenshot & Method:
- First, log in to your Facebook account and navigate to the post you want to edit.
- Click on the three dots icon in the post's top right corner.
- In the drop-down menu, select "Edit Post."
- The post editor will open. At the top of the editor, you'll see the privacy setting for the post. If the post is currently set to "Public," click on the privacy setting to open the drop-down menu.
- From the drop-down menu, select "Friends" to change the post to be visible to your friends only.
- Once you've selected "Friends," click the "Save" button to save the changes.
- If you want to make the post visible to specific friends or groups of friends, you can click on the "Friends" button and select "Specific Friends" or "Friends Except..." from the drop-down menu.
- Once you've made your changes, click on the "Save" button to save the changes.
- The post will now be visible to your selected audience only.
That's it! You've successfully changed a Facebook public post to friends-only. Keep in mind that if the post has already been shared, changing the privacy setting won't affect the visibility of the shared post.
