Here is Screenshot & Method:
Step 1: Open Your Excel Sheet:
- Open the Excel workbook that contains the table you want to print with a title.
Step 2: Add the Title to Your Table:
- Make sure your table has a title. If it doesn't, select the top cell of a column in your table, type the title, and press "Enter"
Step 3: Set the Print Area:
- Click and drag to select the entire table area, including the title.
- Go to the "Page Layout" tab on the top menu bar.
- In the "Page Setup" group, click on the "Print Area" dropdown arrow, then select "Set Print Area"
Step 4: Create a Header with the Table Title:
- Go to the "Insert" tab on the top menu bar.
- In the "Text" group, click on "Header & Footer"
- A box will appear at the top of your Excel sheet labelled "Header" This is where you'll add the title.
- Position the cursor where you want the title to appear (usually in the centre), then click on the "Insert Picture" button in the Header & Footer Tools Design tab that appears.
- You'll be prompted to choose a picture. You can use the image of the table title that you want to print. After selecting the picture, click "Insert"
- You can adjust the size of the image and its alignment using the options in the Header & Footer Tools Design tab.
Step 5: Print Preview and Adjustments:
- Go to the "File" tab and click on "Print"
- In the print preview, you'll see the title image at the top of each page that contains your table data.
- If the title image appears too large or too small, return to the Header & Footer Tools Design tab and adjust the image size.
Step 6: Print Your Table:
- After confirming that the title image is positioned correctly and looks how you want, you can print the table.
- Click on the "Print" button in the print preview or press "Ctrl + P" on your keyboard.
Step 7: Save Your Work:
- Once you're satisfied with the printing setup, save your Excel workbook.
By following these steps, you can automatically include a table title when you print on every page of your Excel workbook. This can be particularly helpful for keeping your printed documents organized and professional-looking.
