  • Select the cells, rows, or columns you want to resize. Click and drag to select the cells, rows, or columns you want to resize. To select multiple cells, rows, or columns, click and drag your mouse over them.
  • Step 3:
  • Resize cells, rows, or columns. To resize cells:
  • Place the cursor on the edge of the selected cell. The cursor will change to a double arrow.
  • Click and drag the edge of the cell to increase or decrease its width or height. As you drag, you'll see a preview of the new size. Release the mouse button when the desired size is reached.
  • To resize rows or columns:
  • Move the cursor to the end of the selected row or column. The cursor will change to a double arrow.
  • Click and drag the edge of a row or column to adjust its width or height. As you drag, you'll see a preview of the new size. Release the mouse button when you are satisfied with the size.

  • Step 4:
  • AutoFit Cells, Rows, or Columns Excel provides an autofit feature that automatically adjusts the width or height of cells, rows, or columns based on their contents.
  • To autofit cells:
  • Double-clicking the border of a selected cell automatically adjusts the width or height to fit the content inside.
  • To autofit rows or columns:
  • Double-click the edge of a selected row or column to automatically adjust the width or height to fit the content inside.

  • Step 5:
  • Please confirm your changes. Ensure the resized table cells, rows, or columns are displayed as intended. Adjustments should reflect the desired size and take into account the content appropriately.
